What are functional mushrooms?
Functional mushrooms are species like Lion's Mane, Reishi, and Chaga that have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Unlike culinary mushrooms, they're valued for their bioactive compounds — including beta-glucans, triterpenes, and antioxidants — that support cognitive function, immune health, stress response, and more.
What's the difference between mycelium and fruiting body extracts?
We use fruiting body only — the actual mushroom, not the mycelium grown on grain. Fruiting body extracts contain significantly higher concentrations of the active compounds you're actually after. Many cheaper supplements use mycelium on grain, which dilutes potency and adds starch filler.
What is a dual extract?
A dual extract uses both water and alcohol extraction to capture the full spectrum of beneficial compounds. Water extraction pulls out beta-glucans (immune support), while alcohol extraction captures triterpenes (stress and sleep support). You need both for a complete product.
How do I use the tinctures?
Add 1–2 droppers (1–2ml) to water, coffee, tea, or take directly under the tongue. We recommend daily use for at least 4–6 weeks to experience the full benefits of adaptogenic mushrooms.
How do the grow kits work?
Each kit comes fully colonized and ready to fruit. Simply open the bag, mist twice daily, and you'll see pins (baby mushrooms) within 5–10 days. Full harvest typically takes 10–14 days. Each kit produces multiple flushes.
